Lets Get Physical…. Diet addition

I have been on EVERY diet, let me tell you. I’ve tried Keto, and Paleo, and cleanses and detoxes and no carb low fat and, high fat low carb and, low-fat high carb. Barely anything has worked for me.

Keto worked for a bit but then go so hard I just couldn’t continue to eat the amount of Fat recommended to me. Not only mentally hard but it recked my Galblatter. But I, Once again have jumped on to a diet. This time it seems different if Feels different.

I’m Currently doing Weight Watchers, and I don’t know why it makes me feel… Hinky to say out loud. Like its some dirty secret. This kind of stigma that only people who don’t have self-control or cant eat right are on this diet. Its the lazy person’s diet. It might just be in my head but that is how always looked at Weight Watchers. It wasn’t until a family member of mine started and started to lose weight fast that I took a second look at it.

The new “Free Style” program has 200 fruits, Veggies, and some proteins for 0 points making it a lot easier to follow. The diet is a moderate carb diet with emphasizes on fruits and veggies. They have some odd rules about blending that I will get into on a post all of its own but besides all of that, it’s fairly simple and easy to follow.

I have to say I’ve been on it for a little over a month and I’m down 10 pounds. I haven’t been working out or anything like and I have a weekly cheat day where I drink beer and dine out. Overall I think the diet is positive, it really promotes clean eating. Proteins like Beans, Chicken, turkey, and Most fish are 0 points along with Eggs and even starchy bananas.

The one amazing part is the App. It’s so easy to use, it has a barcode reader for food, a social page you can talk or post photos. You set your own weigh in days and it doses all the math for you. As you lose weight your daily and weekly points go down. OH, and I forgot they have a new “Activity” section. It basically converts your “steps” or “workouts” from your phone or smartwatch into points…

I’m going to be totally honest and say I don’t know what the points are for I don’t think you can use them… but it’s a nice way to get some kind of work out program incorporated.

I am losing weight, I feel healthier and I really don’t feel like I’m denying myself anything I want. With weekly points and daily points at your disposal. I’m thankful I gave it shot because I think I finally found something that works.
